Wheaton, Ill. – The Wheaton volleyball team dropped a CCIW match to Augustana, 3-1 on Tuesday night in King Arena. The Viking won the first set 25-22 and Wheaton dominated the second set 25-14. The Vikings regained the advantage with a 25-23 victory in the third set and the guests rallied to earn a 25-22 victory in the decisive fourth set.

Sarah McWilliams led the Thunder with 13 kills and she added nine digs in the match. Hannah Velling and Jenna McCallister each tallied eight kills. McCallister distributed a team-high 31 assists, with 18 digs. Libero Ashlie Pace recorded 23 digs in the match.

Wheaton will travel to Beloit College on Friday night for a tri-match with the Buccaneers and Judson College.
