Wheaton men's tennis tops Illinois Wesleyan 8-1, clinches No. 2 seed in CCIW

Wheaton, Ill. - The Wheaton College men's tennis team clinched the No. 2 seed at the upcoming CCIW Tournament with an 8-1 win over Illinois Wesleyan University on Wednesday.

The Thunder improved to 5-10 overall and 3-2 in the CCIW. They are the No. 2 seed in conference tourney, with Carthage College holding the No. 1 seed.

Wheaton will be playing at the CCIW Championships on Friday and Saturday at Illinois Wesleyan in Bloomington, Ill.
