Wheaton, Ill. – The Thunder volleyball team earned a 3-0 victory against Millikin on Tuesday night in King Arena. Wheaton won the first set 25-21, took the second 25-19, and the Thunder closed out the match with a 25-22 victory in the third set. Wheaton is now 11-11 overall and 2-4 in conference play. Millikin is 16-11 overall and 1-4 in league action. Wheaton will compete in the Elmhurst Invitational, this Friday and Saturday at Elmhurst College.

Sophomore Sarah McWilliams led the Thunder with 12 kills and she added 10 digs in tonight's match. Sophomore setter Jenna McCallister recorded eight kills, with 27 assists and 16 digs. Freshman Hannah Velling had seven kills, while senior Ashlie Pace added 28 digs and Abby Huebner contributed three blocks.
