Philadelphia, Pa. - Former Wheaton All-American Andy Studebaker made his second appearance in a NFL preseason game when the Philadelphia Eagles hosted the Carolina Panthers on Thursday night in a game that was broadcast nationally on Fox Television.
Studebaker accumulated two total tackles in the game with a solo tackle on special teams and an assisted tackle on defense. The former CCIW Defensive Player of the Year also stripped Carolina running back LaBrandon Toefield of the ball to force a fumble late in the fourth quarter and the fumble was recovered by his Eagles' teammate Justin Roland.
In the Eagles' two preseason games Studebaker has made five total tackles, with three solos, two assisted stops and a pass deflection.
