Wheaton, Ill. – The Thunder wrestling team hosted Concordia University (Wis.) and Augustana College on Friday for a trio of dual matches between the three schools. Wheaton won both of its matches on the evening, as the Thunder defeated Augustana 28-9 and Wheaton closed the night with a 33-18 win against Concordia. Concordia defeated Augustana, 22-18 in the opening match of the evening.

Brent Skorup (PICTURED) won both of his matches at 141-pounds, by fall. Skorup improves to 21-4 on the year. Cody Nord (133-pounds); Jon Sesso (157-pounds); Eugene Savenok (165-pounds) and Justin Marble (174-pounds), were all two-match victors on the evening for the Thunder.

Wheaton is now 7-7-1 on the year in dual matches. The squad will be off until next weekend when it hosts the Pete Willson-Wheaton Invitational beginning Friday at 1:30 PM.
