Bloomington, Ill. - The Thunder volleyball team opened its conference schedule on Tuesday night with a 3-0 (30-23, 30-18, 30-27) win at Illinois Wesleyan. The victory was the fourth straight win for the Thunder, as the team has won nine of its last 10 matches.

Junior Mallory Sullivan (PICTURED) led the Thunder with 14 kills and added 13 digs. Lisa Jutsum recorded 12 kills and Kelli Miller added nine. Junior setter Annie Himmelhaver distributed 35 assists and senior Leah Whiteley-Rupp recorded a team-high 21 digs.

Wheaton is now 10-3 on the season and 1-0 in league play. The Thunder will host the Wheaton Invitational this weekend in King Arena. The tournament begins on Friday at 3 PM and will resume on Saturday at 10 AM.
