Holland, Mich. (2/23) - The Thunder women's tennis team opened its spring season on Friday afternoon with an 8-1 victory against Kalamazoo College. With the win Wheaton improves to 9-0 in the 2006-07 season. The Thunder will play Hope College on Saturday morning to concluded its two-match trip to Michigan.
Wheaton swept the doubles matches on Friday against the Hornets. The Thunder also won the top five singles matches, with Kalamazoo's lone victory coming at number-six singles.
