Wheaton, Ill. (9/30) - The Thunder women's tennis team concluded the regular season portion of its fall season on Saturday with a pair of CCIW victories at home. Wheaton earned a 9-0 win against Illinois Wesleyan and was a 9-0 victor against Elmhurst. With Saturday's victories Wheaton is now 8-0 on the season, marking the third consecutive season that the program will end the dual match portion of its fall schedule with a flawless record and a perfect conference record.
Wheaton will completely conclude its fall schedule next weekend at the 2006 CCIW Championships in Bloomington, Illinois. The Thunder will be looking to win its second consecutive CCIW Championship and its conference-best 12 overall league title.
