Win streak is snapped as spikers fall 3-0 at North Central

Naperville, Ill. (9/28) – The Thunder volleyball team lost 0-3 (29-31, 21-30, 29-31) in a key conference match at North Central on Thursday night. The loss snaps Wheaton's four-match win streak as the team falls to 10-5 overall and 1-2 in conference play. North Central is now 12-2 overall and 1-2 in conference action. The Thunder will return to the court on Friday night in a non-conference match at Carroll College (Wis.).

Sophomore Lisa Jutsum  led the Thunder with 18 kills on the night, while Mallory Sullivan added 11 and Kelli Miller recorded nine kills. Sophomore setter Annie Himmelhaver had a team-high 37 assists and Miller led the Thunder with four total blocks. Sullivan made a team-high 18 digs and junior Leah Whiteley recorded 17 digs, with three service aces.
