Elmhurst defeats the Thunder wrestling team 26-9

Wheaton, Ill. – The Wheaton Thunder wrestling team hosted Elmhurst College on Wednesday night for a dual match in King Arena. The Bluejays defeated Wheaton 26-9.

In tonight's 165-pound match freshman Jon Sesso (PICTURED) trailed Elmhurst's Nick Parrish 2-1 in the final minute of the third period. A takedown by Sesso in the final minute gave the Thunder grappler a 3-2 lead that he would turn into a 3-2 decision. Junior Chase Campbell scored three points in the final period to earn a 3-2 decision against Mark Corsello of Elmhurst in the 285-pound match. Toby Boltz won an 8-5 decision for the Thunder in the 184-pound weight class.
