Kenosha, Wis. (11/3) – The Thunder women's volleyball team had its season ended on Friday night in a 3-0 (25-30, 11-30, 27-30) loss to second-seeded Illinois Wesleyan in the semifinals of the CCIW Volleyball tournament. With the loss the sixth-seeded Thunder ends the year with an overall record of 19-12. Illinois Wesleyan advanced to the CCIW Tournament Championship Match to face top-seeded Carthage.
Sophomore middle blocker Kelli Miller (PICTURED) led the Thunder with 11 kills and two block assists in the match. Miller was named to the All-Tournament Team for her efforts. Sophomores Mallory Sullivan and Lisa Jutsum each recorded nine kills, as Sullivan added 12 digs. Setter Annie Himmelhaver recorded 33 assists and led the Thunder with 14 digs.
