Damon Brown is a senior captain on the Wheaton men's soccer team. Below is an interview with the Thunder senior.

Q: What is your major?
A: Civil Engineering

Q: Why did you choose to attend and play soccer at Wheaton?
A: Wheaton is one of the most successful programs in Division III and you get to compete with a bunch of athletes that play for an audience of one.

Q: What is your favorite thing about playing soccer at Wheaton?
A: My favorite thing about playing soccer at Wheaton is the environment surrounding me. The team encourages growth, not just on the pitch, but more importantly spiritually. Also, Wheaton fans are the best!

Q: What do you enjoy most about Wheaton?
A: The people at Wheaton are what make it so great. I am blessed to be around so many great people that have such positive influences on my life.

Q: How did it feel, last year, to help Wheaton to its first CCIW Championship since 2003?
A: It was great! That was one goal that we wanted to accomplish, and it felt good to get the job done.

Q: Talk a little bit on your thoughts for the upcoming season for the soccer team?
A: I am really looking forward to the year. We have a solid group of returning players with a great recruiting class as well. If we can play well as a team, then we could make it really far.
