The 2024 season will be Dallas McRae's third as an assistant coach for the Thunder football program after graduating from Wheaton in the spring of 2022. McRae played four seasons of football as a defensive lineman at Wheaton after transferring from Southern Utah University.

2021: AFCA & AP All-American first team honoree, D3football.com All-Region Defensive Player of the Year, All-Region first team member, CCIW Defensive Player of the Year, first team All-Conference, D3football.com team of the week member, recorded 13 sacks in 2021 season (fourth-most in a single season in program history), fifth place on Wheaton's career sack list with 26.5
2019: D3football.com National Defensive Player of the Year...D3football.com North Region Defensive Player of the Year and CCIW Defensive Player of the Year...named 1st Team All-American by D3football.com, AFCA, and Associated Press...D3football.com Team of the Week on Sept. 10, Oct. 15, and Oct. 22...CCIW Defensive Player of the Week on Oct. 21...started all 13 games with 52 tackles, 18.5 tackles for loss, and 8.5 sacks to go with a forced fumble and a pass break-up...had four tackles including three tackles for loss and two sacks in a Quarterfinal loss to Saint John's on Dec. 7...had four tackles including two sacks in a victory Norht Central on Oct. 5...led Wheaton with nine tackles including two tackles for loss in season-opening victory at Monmouth on Sept. 7.
2018: Second Team All-CCIW selection...started all 10 games, tallying 41 tackles including 8.5 tackles for loss and five sacks...had a career-high nine tackles including 2.5 tackles for loss and 1.5 sacks at WashU on Oct. 13...had seven tackles including two sacks against Elmhurst on Nov. 10.
2017: Appeared in nine games in his first season with the Thunder after transferring from Southern Utah University...had 24 tackles including 2.5 tackles for loss and 0.5 sacks...had four tackles and 0.5 sacks against North Park on Oct. 21...had season-high seven tackles at Kalamazoo on Sept. 9.

High School: Three-year varsity starter...First Team All-State...team captain.
