WFMP Article in Chicago Sun-Times -- WFMP Article by Wheaton College President Philip Ryken

For 24 years we have taken spring break trips with over 1,600 players, trainers, leaders (many of them former players taking vacation time and raising their support), to over 21 countries both overseas and domestically. We partner mainly with former Wheaton Football players in ministry. This has been time when our team grows together by serving and grows as part of their spiritual journey in faith.

This year a total of 77 of our players and trainers will be serving in four locations: Dominican Republic, Ecuador, the San Blas islands in Panama, and Uganda. We will meet up with Morningside College in Uganda with a coach and 15 players. I am excited each year as our guys experience worship in another place, see culture in another land, develop relationships with whom they're with, and see God in another lens. To God be the Glory. Please pray for us. Jesus changes Everything!

Live like it matters,
Coach Peltz

Our Mission
  • Demonstrate Jesus' Incarnate love through the visible presence of His disciples to those who have need.
  • Foster relationships and gain skills in partnership cross-culturally
  • Challenge college students to full-time Christian service in support of the Global church.
  • Proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God to those young people who are without God in the areas of outreach.
  • Provide support and encouragement to those laboring for the kingdom in far-flung places.
  • To personalize the priority of missions. If you are called to go; then answer. If you are blessed financially, then send the one who is called to go. If you are the encourager, then encourage. If you are the prayer warrior, then pin them up on the board and pray. If you are the hands and feet, then go alongside and work.
  • Jesus changes everything! Be ready to tell your story. From when we arrive at the airport, on the plane, during our week as we rub shoulders with whom we work with, to each other, until we arrive back home. How has Jesus given you a new purpose?
