2012 Wheaton grad Jaime (Orewiler) French joins FC Kansas City

Wheaton, Ill. –
2012 Wheaton College graduate Jaime (Orewiler) French has been called up to the roster of Kansas City FC of the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). French joins FC Kansas City in time for a return to the Chicagoland area when FC Kansas travels to face the Chicago Red Stars on Thursday June 13 at 6:30 PM at the Benedictine University Sports Complex in Lisle, Illinois.

Jaime Orewiler
Jaime (Orewiler) French played four seasons for the Thunder women's soccer program (2008-11), culminating with the 2011 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) Division III Women's Soccer Player of the Year Award.

In her four seasons at Wheaton, French registered 48 career goals with 31 assists. She is seventh in the Wheaton career record books in goals, seventh in assists and sixth in total points. She earned NSCAA All-American honors for the Thunder in 2010 and 2011, also earning recognition as the College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Player of the Year in both of those seasons. She also was honored as a Capital One Academic All-American in the 2010 and 2011 seasons.
