Mequon, Wis.- The Wheaton Thunder wrestling team, ranked #28 in the latest NWCA poll, defeated Concordia (Wis.) University 41-5 in a dual meet on Friday night. The Thunder matmen are now 3-1 on the season in dual meets. Wheaton swept all but the 133 pound weight class in Friday's meet despite recording just one pin.

Tom Foy recorded Wheaton's only pin with a fall of Brandom Mayhew 1:14 into the match. Isaac Bray (149), Mark Savenok (157), and Matt McCrary (174) each recorded technical fall victories. Stephen Aiello (165) and Logan Walkup (184) each registered major decision wins. Mitch Steed won a 5-3 decision at 197 and Taylor Gohn won an 8-5 decision at 285.

Wheaton is now off until the Lakeland Duals on January 4, 2014.
