Wheaton, Ill. - A pair of Wheaton College seniors have been named to the
D3football.com "Team of the Week", presented by Scoutware. Thunder safety
Jordan Langs and placekicker
Scott Roche were both selected to the website's weekly honor roll for their respective performances in Wheaton's 23-14 victory at UW-Platteville on Saturday night.
Langs recorded five solo tackles on Saturday night and returned an interception 17 yards in the win over the Pioneers. Langs has a team-high two interceptions this year, tying for second in
Division III in interceptions per game. In four season with the Thunder, Langs has recorded 99 career tackles, including 62 solo stops. He has nine career interceptions and 17 passes broken-up.
Roche (PICTURED RIGHT) made three field goals on three attempts Saturday night in Platteville, Wisconsin. He booted kicks of 49 yards, 37 yards and 29 yards for the 'Orange and Blue'. He is a perfect 5-for-5 in field goal attempts in the 2011 season and is tied for
second in Division III in field goals per game. Wheaton's scoring leader this season with 23 points, Roche is currently
39th in Division III in points per game and third among kickers in the category. He has kicked 32 field goals in his Thunder career, as he tied Wheaton's school record for field goals in a career in Saturday's win.
