Tonya Baker comes to Wheaton College from OAD Orthopaedics. In her career, she has worked as an athletic trainer for the Kane County Eagles Semi-Pro football team, West Chicago High School, Wheaton North High School, and Lancaster Catholic High School (Lancaster, Pa.). As an English teacher, she has worked at Wheaton North and Wheaton Warrenville South High Schools, Timber Ridge Middle School (Plainfield, Ill.) and Lancaster Catholic High School.
Baker earned her Bachelor’s Degree in English Education in 1993 from Millersville University (Pa.) and completed her athletic training courses at West Chester University (Pa.) in 1994. She went on to earn her Master’s Degree in Teaching from St. Xavier University in Chicago in 2000.
Tonya resides in Batavia with her husband, Todd, and their three children, Aspen, Dylan, and Camdyn.
