Tricia Deter, MS, ATC is a graduate of Olivet Nazarene University, where she completed a Bachelor of Science in Athletic Training degree in 2009. She went on to earn a Master of Science in Athletic Training from Illinois State University in 2011. During her time at ISU, she worked as a graduate assistant Athletic Trainer. After finishing her Master’s degree, she came to Wheaton College to begin working as the Assistant Athletic Trainer and was subsequently promoted to Head Athletic Trainer. In June 2025, Deter was given the title of Assistant Athletics Director for Sports Medicine.
Tricia was born and raised in Morrison, Illinois, and she now resides in Naperville.
