LORAS COLLEGE DUHAWKS
The Loras College women’s soccer team continued an unprecedented winning streak in Iowa Conference play and have been ranked (or receiving votes) in every poll in 2013. Loras College
The 2013 season has been highlighted by a 1-2 punch on the attack and stability in the back. Sophomore Katie Truesdale leads the team in goals (13) and is tied for the team lead with 31 points when you add in her five assists. She has a team high four game-winning goals and contributed to three of the four goals Loras scored in the IIAC Tournament last weekend. Danielle Vujovic missed all of 2012 with an injury and has returned to score 10 goals and added 11 assists to match Truesdale’s points output. Sixteen other Duhawks have found the back of the net as well, including five players with three or more goals. Vujovic and Truesdale each won IIAC Offensive Player of the Week once this year.

In the back, seniors Sarah Trump and Kinsey Campbell have anchored the back line and helped Loras outscore opponents 60-21 this year. Both have been All-Iowa Conference and All-Region picks in the past, and Campbell earned an All-American nod in 2012 as well. Hannah Wilson claimed the starting goalkeeper spot this year and has all 17 wins to her credit. She has a 0.95 goals against average. Trump, Campbell, and Wilson accounted for five IIAC Defensive Player of the Week awards this season.
