Ruth Leedy Field is the home of Wheaton College Softball. The north end of Ruth Leedy Field also serves as a throwing area for the Thunder track & field programs. Ruth Leedy Field is named after Ruth Leedy, a longtime coach and professor at Wheaton.

Sheltered dugouts with a concrete floor were added in the mid 1990's. Renovations were made in 2006 when a permanent outfield fence and scoreboard were added to the softball facility, and a windscreen was put in place over the outfield fence ahead of the 2024 season. Leedy Field is 200 feet down the left-field and right-field lines and 225 feet to center-field.
