Hannah Frazier named the CCIW Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the third time this season

Wheaton, Ill. - Sophomore forward Hannah Frazier was named this week's College Conference of Illinois and Wisconsin (CCIW) Player of the Week in women's basketball by the conference office on Monday afternoon. This is the third time this season Frazier has picked up the award also earning the recognition on January 8 and January 15.

Frazier helped lead Wheaton to a pair of CCIW victories last week, including a 71-61 win against 14th-ranked Illinois Wesleyan last Wednesday. She scored 21 points on 7-of-10 shooting, along with four rebounds, four assists and two steals in the victory over the Titans, which ended their 16-game winning streak. Frazier contributed 13 points, eight rebounds and three assists in just 22 minutes of a 68-40 win at North Park on Saturday.

Frazier is averaging a team-best 15.0 points per game for the Thunder this season, a mark that ranks fourth in the conference in scoring. She is shooting 50.8% (124-of-244) from the field on the year. Frazier is averaging 5.6 rebounds, 1.7 blocked shots and 1.2 steals per game. 

Wheaton travels to Carroll on Wednesday for a conference matchup in Waukesha, Wisconsin. Wednesday's game starts at 7:00 p.m.
