Drew Engelking earned his second collegiate win on Saturday, finishing first at the ONU Spring Invitational, hosted by Olivet Nazarene University. Engelking carded a one-over par round of 73 on Saturday at Kankakee Elks Country Club to finish one-shot ahead of the field. Wheaton earned a fourth place finish in the eight-team field.
Engelking shot a four-over-par round of 76 in Friday's first round to pair with his 73 to finish the weekend five-over-par at 149. Engelking's Saturday round of 73 was the lowest score carded on the tournament's final day.
Adam Eaton tied for fifth place with a ten-over-par weekend score of 154 (76-78).
Micah Dworak shot identical rounds of 80 to finish with a 160.
Robby Bowles (85-81) and
Joshua Chung (83-83) both tied with a 166.
Lindenwood earned the victory in the team event with a two-round team score of 615, followed by Purdue-Northwest at 622 and Olivet Nazarene was third at 624. Behind Wheaton's score of 627 was Trinity Christian University at 651.
