Alex Holle finishes 44th at the NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country Championships

Wineconne, Wis. – Wheaton senior Alex Holle closed out his collegiate career on Saturday with a tremendous performance at the NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country Championship on the 8K course at Lake Breeze Golf Course. Holle posted a time of 25:08.0 to finish 44th in the field of 278 runners in the men's championship race.

Head cross country coach David Walford said of Holle's performance, "Alex went out and executed the race plan for today and did very well in today's race."

Walford noted of the senior, "Alex has come a long way both this year and in his four years at Wheaton. He had a really strong career in cross country, has worked hard and been an extremely consistent performer in his four years with us."
