Wheaton, Ill. - Head Women's Basketball Coach
Kent Madsen has recently announced the arrival of seven new student-athletes who have chosen to continue their education and have submitted their deposit to attend Wheaton College, with the intent to play for the Thunder women's basketball team beginning in the fall of 2012.
Coach Madsen (PICTURED LEFT) says of the group, "Our motto for the upcoming season is, 'building unity through humility.' What I like about the incoming class is their humility. They have earned achievements and honors on and off the court during their high school careers yet they remain humble. The competitive desire of this class in the classroom and on the court definitely appeals to me, but most importantly, I appreciate their love for the Lord. Overall, this freshman group brings versatility, athleticism, and depth that I feel will help us remain very competitive in the CCIW."
