Men's basketball announces seven newcomers for the 2012-13 season

Wheaton, Ill. - Wheaton College head men's basketball coach Mike Schauer has announced his team's recruiting class for the 2012-13 season. Seven men, hailing from five different states, have submitted a deposit reserving a place in Wheaton's class of 2016, with plans of playing for the Thunder men's basketball team.

Mike Schauer
"We are very encouraged by this recruiting class,” stated coach Schauer. “We obviously graduated a significant amount of talent but believe this class will immediately assist in replenishing the program's talent level.  There are a few young men in this group with All-CCIW ability.  More importantly this is another group that fits the unique characteristics of Wheaton.  They are strong academically and committed spiritually.  I look forward to what this group of young men will accomplish over the next several years."
