Wheaton, Ill. - Wheaton College's Carl Sveen and Amanda MacLurg were named as the CCIW Swimmers of the Week on Tuesday.

MacLurg, a freshman, swam a lifetime best in the 200-yard IM, finishing second with a time of 2:17.69 during a double-dual meet with Illinois Wesleyan University and North Central College on Saturday. She also swam a lifetime best in the 100-yard freestyle, clocking a time of 55.86.

Sveen (PICTURED BELOW), a junior, won the 500-yard freestyle with an un-tapered best time of 4:58.4 during Saturday's double-dual meet with Illinois Wesleyan and North Central. He also finished third in the 200-yard IM with an un-tapered best time of 2:04.18.
