Wheaton, Ill.- Wheaton teams will be participating in three NCAA Championship events this weekend.The Thunder women's and men's soccer teams will be competing in NCAA Tournament Sectionals on Friday and the Wheaton men's cross country team will run at the NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country Championships on Saturday in Terre Haute, Indiana.
WOMEN'S SOCCER AT NCAA-III SECTIONAL IN ST. LOUIS, MISSOURI
The Thunder women's soccer team, the defending Division III runner-up, will look to return to the NCAA Division III Final Four. The road to the National Semifinals on November 30 in San Antonio will go through St. Louis this weekend for the Thunder. Wheaton will face Hardin-Simmons (18-0-2) on Friday at 3 PM. Washington-St. Louis (18-1-1) will host Concordia-Moorhead (17-3-2) in Friday's other match at 5:30 PM. Friday's winners will play in the Sectional Final on Saturday at 5 PM for the right to participate in the NCAA Division III Final Four on November 30 and December 1 in San Antonio, Texas.

MEN'S SOCCER AT THE NCAA-III SECTIONAL IN DUBUQUE, IOWA
The Thunder men's soccer team will compete at a NCAA Division III Sectional hosted by Loras College in Dubque, Iowa. Wheaton is making its first trip to the Sectional round of the tournament since 2006. Wheaton will face Dominican University (18-2-1) on Friday at 5 PM. Loras (21-1-1) will host UW-Platteville (15-3-2) at 7:30 PM in Friday's other match. Friday's winners will play in the Sectional Final at 6 PM on Saturday for the right to participate in the NCAA Division III Final Four on November 30 and December 1 in San Antonio, Texas.

MEN'S CROSS COUNTRY AT NCAA-III DIVISION III CHAMPIONSHIPS IN TERRE HAUTE, INDIANA
The Thunder men's cross country team will be running at the 2012 NCAA Division III Men's Cross Country Championships this Saturday at 11 AM (EST) in Terre Haute, Ind. The Thunder were among 32 teams to selected for participation at Nationals. Wheaton earned an at-large spot at Nationals thanks to a fourth-place finish at the Division III Midwest Regional in Winneconne, Wisconsin last Saturday.
This year's selection to the NCAA Championship marks the Wheaton men's cross country program's sixth appearance in the championship and second consecutive trip following a 12th-place effort last year. The program's highest finish in the National Championship was a fourth-place finish in 1985.
