Wheaton, Ill. - Wheaton College's Brooke Olson was named the CCIW Women's Basketball Player of the Week  on Monday.

Olson, a junior point guard, scored a career-high 25 points in a 76-74 overtime victory against then 22nd-ranked Illinois Wesleyan University on Saturday. She connected on six three-point field goals and also had four assists and two steals against the Titans. Earlier in the week, Olson scored 11 points with six assists in a 78-67 win over Augustana College last Wednesday.

So far this season, Olson is averaging 10.6 points, 4.6 assists, 3.1 rebounds and 2.0 steals per game. She is ranked third in the CCIW in assists, fifth in minutes played (31.2 MPG) and sixth in steals.
