Wheaton College junior Jaime Orewiler and sophomore Laura Karsten have been named to the inaugural D3Soccer.com Division III All-American women's soccer team.

Orewiler, the 2010 CCIW “Player of the Year” for women's soccer, was a Second Team honoree on the D3Soccer.com team. She led Wheaton with a team-high 17 goals and seven assists this season, recording 41 total points. Earlier this month she earned First Team NSCAA All-Region honors, and was a Second Team All-Region honoree in 2009 as a midfielder. She is 10th all-time at Wheaton with 33 career goals and 12th in school history with 81 career points.

Karsten was a Third Team All-American selection from the website. She was an integral part of a Wheaton defense that recorded 12 shutouts this season, posting a 0.49 goals against average. The Thunder only allowed 12 goals in its 24 matches this season. Also a offensive threat, Karsten registered eight goals this season, with three assists.

The duo was part of a Wheaton team that posted a record of 20-2-2, winning the 2010 CCIW Championship with a perfect 7-0 record in conference regular season play. The Thunder advanced to the Sectional Semifinal of the 2010 NCAA Division III Women's Soccer Championship, with its season ending in a penalty kick shootout following a 1-1 tie against Emory University.
