North Chicago, Ill. - The #20-ranked Wheaton women's golf team participated at the “Robert Morris University Fall Classic” on Friday at Foss Park Golf Course in North Chicago, Illinois. Wheaton shot a 346 at the event to finish third.

St. Francis (Ill.) shot a 339 in first place, North Central was second with a 345, Wheaton carded a 346 in third place, Robert Morris (Ill.) was fourth with a 358 and Olivet Nazarene was fifth with 370 strokes.

Senior Casi Blanton was the top performer for the Thunder with an 83 in third place. Freshman Sarah L. Moore carded an 86 to finish eighth, while Ellie Moore shot an 88 in 11th place. Sarah A. Moore carded an 89 in 12th place and junior Debby Bouzeous shot a 95 in 34th place. Michelle Morency played shot a 101, playing as an individual.

Wheaton will return to action on September 9 at Augustana College's “Lady Viking Invitational.
