Orlando, Fla. - The Wheaton College men's tennis team picked up its first two victories of the year 7-2 over Wartburg College on Tuesday and 7-2 versus Salve Regina University on Wednesday.
The Thunder improved to 2-4 on the season.
Wheaton had three singles players win both their matches on Tuesday and Wednesday, including
Taylor Johnson,
David Stephens and
Joel Parrish. In doubles, the duo of Johnson and
Corey Chan won both their matches at the No. 1 spot, and the team
Colin Johnson and
Jordan Williams also picked up two victories at No. 3 doubles.
