Wheaton, Ill. –Wheaton College sophomores Lauren Jurgens and Moire Yue have both been selected to participate in individual events at the 2010 NCAA Division III Women's Swimming & Diving Championships. The 2010 Division III Championships will be held March 17-20 at the University Aquatic Center in Minneapolis, Minn.

Jurgens will compete in three events at the Championships. The sophomore will participate in the women's 1,650 yard freestyle with a time of 17:15.22, the 13th fastest qualifying time in the event. Jurgens is the CCIW Champion in the 1,650 and set the CCIW record in the event earlier this year. The 2010 CCIW Champion in the 500-yard freestyle, Jurgens will also be competing in that event with a time of 5:00.81. The 500-yard freestyle will be held on Wednesday. Her effort was the 19th qualifying time in the event. She will also compete in the 200-yard freestyle with a time of 1:54.80. The 500-yard freestyle will be on Wednesday (March 17), the 200-yard freestyle is Thursday (March 18) and 1,650-yard freestyle is on Saturday (March 20).

Yue will be competing in the women's 100-yard backstroke after registering the 16th-best qualifying time in the event with a time of 57.89-seconds. Yue is the 2010 CCIW Champion in the 100-yard backstroke. The sophomore will also be competing in the 100-yard freestyle at Nationals with a qualifying time of 52.49-seconds and in the 50-yard freestyle with a time of 24.04-seconds. The 50-yard freestyle will be held on Wednesday (March 17), the 100-yard backstroke will be on Friday (March 19) and the 100-yard freestyle will on Saturday (March 20).
