Wheaton, Ill. (3/16) – Wheaton College wrestlers Cody Nord (PICTURED) and Eugene Savenok have been named to the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Division III Scholar All-American Team.

Nord was one of five honorees in the 133-pound weight class. Nord, a senior, is a double-major in Mathematics and Secondary Education with a 3.60 cumulative grade point average. He posted a record of 16-6 this year, winning the Milwaukee School of Engineering Invitational in the 133-pound weight class. He was third at Manchester College's Spartan Mat Classic and was also third at the CCIW Championship, with a fourth place finish at the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional.

Savenok was one of 12 selections in the 157-pound weight class. The junior is a Business and Economics major at Wheaton with a 3.36 cumulative grade point average. Savenok posted a record of 20-12 this year. He finished second at the Milwaukee School of Engineering Invitational in the 133-pound weight class, third at the CCIW Championships and also took third at the NCAA Division III Great Lakes Regional.
