Todd Moxley, class of 1986, was a three-time All-American in both cross country and track during his time at Wheaton. In cross country, Moxley placed seventh in the CCIW in 1982; fourth in 1983 and 1984 and fifth in 1985. In track, Moxley won CCIW titles in the 3,000-meter steeplechase in 1983 and 1985, setting a still-standing school record of 9:03.1 in 1985, and won CCIW titles in the 5,000-meter run in 1985 and 1986. He placed second at the 1984 NCAA Division III Outdoor Championships in the 5,000 meters and also placed second at the 1986 national championships. He won the 5,000-meter run at the 1985 NCAA Division III National Championships.
