Steve Clum was a four-year starter for Wheaton’s basketball team in the early 1970s. During his junior season, he set a single-game Wheaton record of 32 rebounds in a Crusader victory over Carroll. He also holds Wheaton’s single-season record of 500 rebounds, set during his sophomore season. Clum had an immediate impact as a freshman and had several highlights that year. In his very first CCIW game, against Carthage, he had team highs of 20 points and 16 rebounds. Steve was an All-CCIW first team selection twice in his Wheaton basketball career.

Steve notes of his memories from Wheaton Basketball, “What is most memorable is the lasting, supportive friendships I made with fellow teammates and coaches. I am grateful for the Godly examples and influences of the coaching staff.”
