Rob Emary won numerous conference and national awards during his decorated career as a member of the Crusader swimming team. As a sophomore, Rob won the individual NCAA Division III National Championship in the 200-yard butterfly. As a senior, he was CCIW MVP, CCIW Swimmer of the Year, ISA Swimmer of the Year, and set four school records. He placed in the top six in every race at the NCAAs and as captain, he helped lead the team to a third-place finish at Nationals. By the end of his swimming career, Rob was a seven-time individual All-American and 10-time relay All-American.
