Wheaton College Athletics

Ray Smith has served Wheaton College and Wheaton Athletics in many ways throughout the last half century. Smith, a 1954 graduate, served as Wheaton’s Sports Publicity Director from 1951-1956 while also filling the role as director of information for the CCI. Ray later chaired the Hall of Honor Selection Committee from 1976-2004, was a two-term president of the Crusader Club, served on the Honey Rock Camp Advisory Board and as director and president of the Wheaton Alumni Association. He has been honored with Wheaton’s “Lifetime Friendship Award.”
