As a lefty who could pitch, play first base and the outfield, Lynn Walmer was a solid player for Coach Lee Pfund’s baseball teams from 1967-1970. Lynn’s career 2.55 ERA with the Crusaders was fourth-best ever at the time he was inducted, and he posted an 11-6 record with a sparkling 127 strikeouts in 148 career innings. He appeared in 70 games—24 on the mound—and batted in 23 runs in his career with a .304 on-base-percentage.
