Kristin Titcombe was a four-time NCAA Division III All-American in the 100-yard breaststroke. Her highest finish at Nationals in the event came in 2002 when she placed third. She was a a three-time All-American in the 200-yard breaststroke, finishing as high as fifth at the 2001 Division III Championships. She also was a member of All-American relay units in the 200-yard and 400-yard medley relay in her career.

She won the 100-yard and 200-yard breaststroke events at the 1999 CCIW Women's Swimming Championships, setting a conference record in the 100-yard breaststroke. At the time of her graduation Kristin held the Wheaton records in the 100-yard breaststroke (1:05.26) and 200-yard breaststroke (2:23.05).

Kristin reflects, "One of the most important life lessons I learned through swimming at Wheaton was how to give my swimming to the Lord, and to choose to give him the priority and glory.  My freshman year I swam for myself, and I wanted to be the best female breaststroker on the team. But when I started committing each day to swim my best for God, and wanting to represent God and Wheaton, my attitude and results changed dramatically." She continues, "While this sounds so simple, it's been powerful when I remember to surrender my work to God daily, work diligently for him, to do this in a trusted community, and believe God for results.   It's been a valuable lesson for the rest of my life."

"I marvel at what we accomplished in our four years," notes Kristin. I am astonished at how fast I got, since I came in as a swimmer with very average high school times. From 1999-2002, we, the Wheaton Women's Swim Team, were eighth, fifth, and sixth twice at nationals."
