Everette “Buzz” Hill wrestled a distinguished three-year career at Wheaton under the direction of Crusader Hall of Honor Coach George Olson. As a sophomore in 1964-65, he was 9-1 with seven pins in the 123 lb. weight division. He was 23-3 as a junior, won the Wheaton Invitational championship and placed fifth in the NCAA College Division Championships. He bettered his NCAA national finish as a senior when he placed fourth. He also won the MacMurray Tournament, Great Lakes Invitational and Wheaton Invitational.
