Andy recollects of his time on the court for the Thunder, "Discipline, perseverance, sacrifice, and teamwork were continually emphasized by our coaching staff, and I carry the lessons I learned on the hardwood into every day as a husband, father, and physician. The ups and downs of winning and losing have taught me how to remain humble in success and respond gracefully to adversity. But nothing is more treasured than the relationships formed with my teammates. To compete with like-minded men who love the Lord and loved to work on their craft was the ultimate privilege, and to further deepen those friendships into adulthood has been the greatest blessing from Wheaton Athletics. Andy graduated from Wheaton in 2009 with a degree in Applied Health Science. In recent years, Andy has moved back to the Chicago suburbs as he is a medical oncologist at Edward Elmhurst Hospital.
