David Lauber collected three All-CCIW selections as a wide receiver for the Crusader football team. During his junior season, Lauber led the CCIW with 828 receiving yards and eight touchdowns and was named to the District Five College Division All-Academic Team. David caught at least one pass in every game he played, and at the conclusion of his career ranked with the second-most receptions in school history. The longest of his 166 career receptions was a record-setting 98-yard touchdown catch that he made in his second game at Wheaton.
