A 1986 graduate, Dave Wolf helped the Wheaton men’s soccer team to a 70-10-10 overall record, three conference championships and its first national soccer championship in 1984. Wolf was a two-time All-Region performer and a 1985 All-American. Dave was also a two-time recipient of the Paul Avila Memorial Award, given each year to a Wheaton College Soccer player who best exemplifies the desire, dedication, and devotion which was displayed by Paul Avila.
Dave says of his time playing for the Crusaders, “I learned about the real value of an athletic experience. That the joy is in the journey and the process itself is the producer of the fruit.”
