Dan Price was a Second Team All-American pick by D3football.com in the 2003 campaign with a breakout senior season at running back. He was an integral part of Wheaton's 2003 CCIW Championship team that recorded a 12-1 record and advanced to the NCAA Division III Quarterfinals for the first time in program history.

A two-time First Team All-CCIW selection, Price established a new single-season rushing record for Wheaton with 1,262 rushing yards in 2003. His 2003 season now ranks fourth in the program's single-season record book. He averaged 5.0 yards per carry with 11 touchdown runs in the record-setting season.

Price ran for 2,207 yards with 30 touchdowns in his four seasons at Wheaton, putting him in eighth place on the school's all-time rushing yards list at the time of his graduation. The career mark ranks 11th in program history today. He was a member of three Wheaton CCIW Championship teams (2000, 2002 and 2003) in his four seasons at Wheaton, with NCAA Playoff appearances in 2002 and 2003.
