Clark Richardson, a 1990 graduate, has many accomplishments from his time on the Wheaton swim team. Clark was a seven-time individual NCAA Division III All-American in breaststroke and Individual Medley, including a national fourth-place finish in the 200-yard breaststroke in 1989. He was a 12-time relay All-American and five-time CCIW Individual Champion in his career and named CCIW MVP in 1989. In the 200-yard and 400-yard Individual Medleys, as well as three relay events, he was a Wheaton varsity record holder. Clark’s most meaningful athletic accomplishment was leading the Wheaton men’s team to a third-place finish at Nationals in 1990, its highest NCAA Division III finish in history.
