Three-sport athlete Bill Tillman, class of 1931, set school records in four track events that stood for a number of years: low hurdles, broad jump, 100 and 220 dashes. In football, his speed and elusiveness earned him the starting slots at QB and halfback in the single-wing offense of the era. Bill also earned three varsity letters in basketball playing forward.
