    Archie MacKinney was an accomplished three-sport athlete during his time at Wheaton, competing in football, basketball and track. On the basketball court is where MacKinney really shined by leading the Crusaders in scoring for four-straight seasons. MacKinney was the captain of the 1925-1926 basketball squad. During Archie’s four years, the basketball team won twice as many as it lost, including a 10-2 mark while he was a junior and a 12-5 record his senior year.
