As a cross country runner, Amy Lindgren Gfesser was a two-time conference champion and three-time National Qualifier. She earned All-American honors and was the No. 1-runner on four conference championship teams. In track, she was also a three-time National Qualifier, qualifying in three separate events. At the time of her graduation, Amy was the Wheaton record holder in the 3,000 meters and second on the list in the 1,500 and 5,000-meters. Amy earned five conference championships in her career and she said that she learned invaluable lessons of God’s grace and power throughout her experience.
