Wheaton, the #4 seed in this year's conference tournament, hosted the fifth-seeded Vikings for a quarterfinal contest and earned a second shutout win against the Chicago squad this fall to extend its campaign. Tonight's result also maintained the Thunder's unbeaten home record against North Park, with Wheaton owning a 16-0-1 all-time mark against the Vikings at Joe Bean Stadium. Wheaton, Ill. -- Ahead of the start of this year's CCIW Tournament on Saturday, the conference has announced its 2026 All-CCIW Women's Soccer Teams. Three Wheaton players have earned recognition for their strong performances in the regular season. Lydia Martin was named the CCIW Goalkeeper of the Year and is the Thunder's lone representative on the All-Conference First Team, while the midfield pair of Lily Lindquist and Calah Strong garnered Second Team accolades. Chicago, Ill. - The Wheaton volleyball team returned to action on Wednesday in a key CCIW matchup at North Park. Wheaton battled the Vikings (8-17, 0-7 CCIW)  in five sets as the Thunder earned the 3-2 victory. Wheaton opened with a 25-21 victory in the first set, and North Park picked up a 25-23 win in the second set. The Thunder took a 2-1 lead with a 25-15 win in the fourth set to even the match at 2-2. Wheaton, Ill. -- Both Thunder soccer teams have earned the right to host a CCIW Tournament Quarterfinal at Joe Bean Stadium following the conclusion of the regular season on Wednesday night. The Wheaton men will enter this year's conference tournament as the #4 seed and will face Carroll University, while the Wheaton women have also secured the #4 seed and will take on North Park University in the opening round. Both quarterfinal matches are scheduled for this Saturday, with the men's game kicking off at 2:00 PM followed by the women's match that will begin at approximately, but no earlier, than 4:30 PM.
